What is Selvedge Denim?
Most denim is interwoven with another fabric such as cotton or polyester which can have different effects on the look and fit. Selvedge denim, on the other hand, is not interwoven with any other material. A classic pair of Selvedge denim, can be noted by the red stripe seen when folding the cuff. Raw denim is meant to be worn and broken in over time. When you first purchase a pair of our selvage denim it is indigo in color however, as time passes it starts to break down in toughness and it developes a lighter blue color.
